Project Description: The project was the analysis of current networks structure, the recommendation of firewall and VPN technology, the installation and training of staff on the ongoing maintenance.

Description of Solution: GVC provided consulting, installation and training for the provision of firewall and VPN services for the Oregon Department of Agriculture. The solution was provided through the Watchguard Firebox 1000 and SoHo products, utilizing IPSec VPN technology to ensure the remote office and users could continue to access the organizational network, while at the same time ensuring a higher level of security for that network.
