System Access & Security Feature

System Access and Security features within GVC.SiteMaker enables System and Unit Administrators to offer website owners (end users) reliable and easy access into the system.

Use the System Access and Security Features to:

• speed up and simplify the new website request process for both administrators and users by using the automated email notification and password generation capabilities
• enable users to manage their own user account by editing and changing passwords
• automatically issue and retrieve passwords providing authorized users seamless and continuous access to the system
• integrate 3rd party user authentication software, such as Kerberos, to access GVC.SiteMaker with the organization's existing User ID's and passwords
• integrate 3rd party group management, such as LDAP, to create Access Groups restricting site access to pages and/or files
